Safety Information
Wax Melt Care
To ensure you get the most out of your wax melts, simply follow the instructions below:
Remove from packaging and place wax melt in the well of your wax burner.
If using a tealight burner, use an unscented tea light with a burn time of 3-4 hours (don't use 8 hour tealights).
Make sure your burner is suitable for wax melts and that the distance from the flame to the base of the well is no less than 10cm.
Do not leave the wax burner unattended whilst in use and avoid moving the burner whilst lit as the hot wax may spill. These items are not for human consumption so please keep away from children and pets.
When you can no longer smell the wax melt, dispose of the wax safely and responsibly, in accordance with your local regulations.
Candle Care
To safely look after your new candle and maintain its high quality for longer, simply follow the instructions below.
When you first light the candle, burn for 3-4 hours or until the melt pool reaches the edge of the jar, as it will ensure you get an even burn and prevent wax wastage from the 'tunnelling' effect.
Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn to prevent an unnecessary high flame, stop any build up on the wick and encourage an even burn.
Do not burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time and always keep the candle in sight whilst burning, making sure it is in an area with good ventilation but away from any draughts and flammable items.
Make sure you stop burning your candle when 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom and when extinguishing, it is recommended to use a candle snuffer.
